CRAFT FESTIVAL - BOVEY TRACEY

Craft Festival: Bovey Tracey. 9-11 June 2023

Back from a wonderful sunny weekend in Devon at Craft Festival: Bovey Tracey. I was lucky enough to be showing with a FAB group of like minded makers from Design Nation: Wales and South West. We’re all member of Design Nation (“a leading portfolio for designer-makers based in the uk who create craft, design and product”). We meet once a month to discuss what we’re working on, share any news, good podcasts/films/tv/books or whatever we’ve got going on in our lives.
We decided to group together to show at this years Craft Festival and it was truly wonderful few days.
After many zoom meetings, there were nine of us showing, Alison Shelton Brown, Bronwen Gwillim, Cat MacKenzie, Hanny Newton, Judi Archer, Kim Colebrook, Laura Thomas, Lindsey Mann, and myself.
We had our own space within the shared marquee. We set up, we demonstrated, we talked, saw an overwhelming amount of talented makers, I danced at the local ceilidh, I won a raffle, delighted! All in all a good weekend for the sole.
