GAEAF The Welsh House - Oriel Myrddin Gallery

13 November - 31 December 2021

“Co-curated with Dorian Bowen of The Welsh House, this year’s exhibition looks at the idea of ‘home’ and what it has come to mean to us all over the past year. What are our most treasured comforts and who are the crafters behind some of our favourite possessions?  We are joined by some of the most skilled crafters working across Wales and the UK today, all housed in our very own Tŷ Unnos (One Night House) - a belief in Welsh folk culture of claiming back a home over the course of one night. “

Step into our makeshift Tŷ (house) and explore an array of exceptional, handcrafted objects that are sure to be passed down through generations to come.
