First up we’ve got THE GOOD LIFE EXPERIENCE at FROME MARKET. Taking place on Sunday 2nd of June 2019. Taking vibes from the North Wales festival TGLE, to the South West, Frome independent market. I’ll be there with Jwrnal, Tom Frost, Nellie and Eve, Rural Kind and Tim Lake, what a TEAM!!
Here’s a little about the festival…
”Founded by Cerys Matthews, Steve Abbott and Charlie & Caroline Gladstone in 2014, for those of you who are yet to discover this magical little festival, you’re in for a treat! The Good Life Experience is held within the grounds of two historic castles, beautiful gardens and a private nature reserve on the Harwarden Estate in Flintshire, North Wales. As well as live music, DJs, talks and workshops, you can also swim in the lake, forage in the woodlands, feast around the campfire.
The Good Life Experience aims to bring you the good stuff. We have world-famous chefs cooking around a campfire One-of-a-kind feasts in a beautiful 1920’s cricket pavilion or a beautiful victorian greenhouse Workshops with some of the best makers in the country. Tents FULL of talks where you’ll meet authors, entrepreneurs, activists, creatives, vets, stationers, actors, journalists, cooks, musicians, teachers, broadcasters, farmers, poets. Bring your friends, your family and even your dog!
And about the market…
”The Frome Independent is an award winning, destination street market. We reclaim Frome’s high street once a month to showcase the best independent craftspeople, designers, makers, food producers and vintage traders in the South West. The Good Life places great importance on making – be it a wobbly spoon or a new friend – and we are looking forward to team Good Life paying us a visit with some of their makers; come and find prints and illustrations from Tom Frost, welsh mountain yarns from Nellie & Eve, ceramics from Tim Lake, woven homewares from Llio James and bags and accessories from Rural Kind in Market Place on Sunday 2nd June.“
