MUFFLER- RED 003
Not your usual scarf, but a hand woven muffler. I wanted to make a short scarf that would keep the nape of the neck warm, and yet be light enough to wear comfortably. After doing further research I discovered that this type of scarf is called a ‘muffler’ and was worn extensively by miners as it kept them warm but didn't get in the way of their work.
My modern day equivalent is more colourful, uses the softest lambswool, and all produced by hand in my studio in Aberystwyth. Super unique with only three of each design made.
