No. 4 PAPER DESIGN
Most of my woven work starts here, simply using coloured paper to draw, design and to build ideas. My earlier paper designs were loosely based on maritime signal flags, but have taken their own meaning by now.
I build the paper designs to explore line, angle, scale and colour. Using a variety of coloured paper, each part is individually cut and layered to create new designs each one unique in its own way.
For the first time ever, I’ve had some of the original paper designs made into prints.
Limited number, each edition signed and numbered.
